The apple spa
The apple spa
Exceptional care in an old apple press
Le Spom, spa of the apple and the Norman soil, offers you treatments in an old half-timbered apple press, restored exclusively with natural materials where wood dominates. The earthen plaster, panelling and parquet flooring create a pleasant atmosphere and a serene atmosphere conducive to relaxation.
In this quirky setting, rustic furniture and the equipment necessary for well-being services are combined with a harmonious environment in the middle of apple trees and on the edge of a valley with the forest as a horizon.
It is here that you will (re)discover with curiosity and greediness the benefits of the apple with all sorts of variations mixing elaborate and natural products.
The Apple: anti-ageing, moisturizing, slimming, draining action…
Since antiquity, goddesses have often held an apple, perceived as a symbol of beauty. Indeed, the apple is an effective product. It was used in the preparation of an ointment used as a body cream. This preparation is at the origin of the word “ointment”.
Laboratories have worked on the properties of the apple by extracting, from the apple seeds, an oil rich in essential fatty acids, therefore moisturizing and nutritious.
The apple from which we extract the apple seed oil used for Spom care is particularly rich in polyphenols. It is detoxifying, antioxidant, draining and slows down the ageing of the skin.
Rich in linoleic acid, apple seed oil is easily absorbed by the skin, thus hydrated, nourished, but also toned and revitalized.
This oil also improves the protective function of the skin cells by reinforcing it with a protective film.
Finally, the apple seed almond (used in our scrubs) particularly hydrates the skin.
The care
New: Ô foin – Ô hay!
The benefits of hay have long been recognised and practised in the Alps. We were inspired by them, believing that the Normandy meadows could claim the same relevance. This range of treatments takes advantage of the active – and olfactory – ingredients of hay, which are proven and recognised.
